Before you leave the hotel
Both listings give check-in from 4:45 PM, so plan to be at Pier 8 when boarding opens. Your voucher confirms the time for your date.
Boarding
The pier sits in the Aloha Tower complex on Honolulu Harbor. On the five-course sailing a pier-side welcome hula and a "champagne" toast are part of the greeting.
Casting off
The ship departs at 5:30 PM. The buffet sailing opens with a Mai Tai from the crew, and the five-course sailing lets you explore all four decks.
The coast from the water
The listed sights are Ala Moana, Waikiki and Diamond Head, with Diamond Head named as the sunset stop. Guests describe the view of Waikiki from the water as a highlight.
Dinner and the show
Dinner is served as the ship sails, and Moku Ola, Voyage of Life takes the stage. The five-course sailing says audience participation is encouraged.
Back to the dock
The ship returns to its pier at the end of the cruise. On Fridays that comes an hour later, after the fireworks.
